Papercast Top 5 Stories 2017

Busem, part of ČSAD AUTOBUSY  České Budějovice a.s, is rolling out ‘smart’ bus stops at 14 major locations across the city of Písek in the Czech Republic. Using Papercast solar powered e-paper displays, the new electronic information system will provide passengers with real-time information on Busem services.

CITYBUS, a division of the privately-owned City Group Co. the leading transport operator in Kuwait, has today announced that it is transforming bus transportation in Kuwait with the first ever electronic passenger information service from Papercast Ltd.

As part of its modernisation programme, Gruppo Torinese Trasporti S.p.A. (GTT), Turin’s local transport company, has selected Papercast to not only to modernise the city with a sustainable technology, but also to improve passenger satisfaction.

Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), Germany’s largest local public transport company, has installed Papercast solar powered e-paper passenger information displays at additional BVG bus stop locations across Berlin. The additional displays have been installed under the trial agreement announced earlier in the year.

Papercast introduces a stunning redesign of its solar powered wireless e-paper display, with the launch of a new website. The sleek new contemporary design of the e-paper display comes thanks to a new ruggedized IP65-rated enclosure.
